-Kyle Inducted into the Northwest Legends Basketball Hall of Fame in Spring 2024 by Mentor & Basketball Coaching Legend, Ernie Woods.
-Seattle Sonics: NBA Contract offer (injured before signing). Kyle was a part of 3 Pre-Season Training Camps with the Sonics through 3 different Head Coaches, making the team with a broken leg (stress fracture) before ultimately not being able to sign due to injury.
-San Antonio Spurs Pre-Season Camp: Kyle was brought in by Greg Popavich (Head Coach) & Del Demps (GM) as 1 of 22 prospects throughout the world for the Spurs.
Keyes Basketball Stats & Achievements:
-Career Professional Basketball Avgs: 21.5ppg, 10.5apg, 6.5rpg., 3.1spg
-Named to the United States Basketball Academy All-Star Team as the starting Point Guard. Kyle recorded highs of 32pts, 18assists and 13rebounds during his Summer as the USBA's starting Point Guard while competing against China, Venezuela and Puerto Rico National Teams and Pac-12 Teams.
-Keyes was named an All-Star in the ABA (American Basketball Association) averaging on that season 22ppg, 11.5apg, 6.8rpg, 3.2spg.
-Keyes was named an All-Star in the IBL (International Basketball League) averaging on that season: 21.5ppg., 11.1apg, 6.3rpg, 3.1spg.
-Keyes was invited to workout for the following NBA Teams: Seattle Sonics, San Antonio Spurs
-Keyes was invited to workout for the following G-League Teams: Seattle Sonics, Dallas Mavericks, Houston Rockets, Portland Trailblazers, Denver Nuggets,
-Kyle also played professionally in the CBA and XBA along with the ABA and IBL.
-Kyle is the former Point Guard for the Hall of Fame Globetrotter's: Harlem All-Stars. Recording a game high 40pts for the Team
-Kyle is the original #1 Draft Pick of the Seattle Pro-Am, now known as the Crawsover.
-Kyle led the Seattle Pro-Am in Assists one year, recording 151 assists in 12 games for a 12.5apg. average that summer.
-5 years later Keyes returned to the Seattle Pro-Am and led the League in Scoring with a Summer average of 33.4ppg.
Kyle played Division 1 Basketball at the University of Montana, which is where the injuries started that limited his minutes and numbers. Kyle still had a productive time at University of Montana and averaged 15ppg per 40minutes played at D1. His Junior season he shot 54%FG and had a career FG% of 51.7%.
Kyle played Junior College Basketball at Edmonds CC (Freshman Year) where he averaged 32ppg. per 40 minutes played, averaging 8ppg on the season in limited minutes. He transferred to Bellevue College for his Sophomore season where he would be given an opportunity to run the Point Guard position exclusively as Team Captain. Sophomore season Kyle compiled averages of 23.4ppg (2nd All-Time in Bellevue College History), 7.5apg, 5.3rpg, 3.5spg while shooting 45% from 3PT and 92%FT's. After his sophomore season at Bellevue, he received 18 Full Ride Division 1 Scholarship offers from high major Pac-10 to mid major Montana. Kyle ultimately chose Montana to pave his own way, as the campus, school and coaching staff was the right fit for his decision.
Kyle was named Seattle Times 1st Team All-KingCo & WestCo as the Team Captain and Varsity Quarterback his senior year while leading Lake Washington HS as the top Offense in KingCo. Kyle was recruited by the University of Washington to play Quarterback. Throwing for close to 2,000yrds, 10TD's with a 67% completion rate on just 18 pass attempts per game. At the time it was the 9th best single season for a quarterback in KingCo History.
In High School Basketball, his Team was ranked 5th on the West Coast his Junior year and went to the Final 4 in the State Championships. His senior Season they won the regular season KingCo Championship.
